The photo album doesn't show up for me. Do you have to be a facebook member to view it?

The photo album doesn't show up for me. Do you have to be a facebook member to view it? I believe so. The one downfall to using fb to host pictures...(well that and they're won't upload in high-def but I just shoot with an iPhone so it's not really a downfall...and they have a HD option these days...)

Good shots Darryl! I like the one of Scott sideways in the baby grand! Thanks, my guy Brian Ashby got that one. I was told it was a spectacular save and this shot doesn't really do it justice...he was apparently past 90 degrees, ran off into the grass driver's left, crossed back up opposite and headed straight for guardrail but saved it and continued on soiled britches and all. That's driving!

Be sure to ask Scott about "wack a mole" next time you see him. The car caught on fire and he forgot to unhook belts, then kept getting caught as he tried to exit. Head kept popping up but no exit. Finally got yanked out the hatch by corner worker.

Darryl... great shots as always. I am looking forward to purchasing a DVD of this event. You guys did a great job covering the event. The chase camera with our "Flying Finn" will make be video highlight for SURE! I forgot to tell you but Heikki has windshield wipers on the side windows of his daily driver.

Did anyone get the video of the Volvo riding the guardrail? The starting in neutral is pretty funny.

Ok we've got all of the photos online, broken up into categories for each car. Please be aware: There are Package Deals for All Photos from one or both days and All Photos of ALL CARS but they are located in the SMALL PRINTS category to the right of each photo, not the Digital Products category at the top you would expect them to be in. Also these package deals include all of the "Candid" photos at no extra charge. 2011 Chasing the Dragon Hillclimb Photos are here: www.photoreflect.com/store/store.aspx?p=228EDIT: Forgot to mention - Those who ran our stickers on their car will get a 50% rebate on the 3 Package Deals after placing the order. (We'll have to issue a refund, too hard to implement before the sale with Photoreflect) Can't apply it to prints because the profit margin is so tight on those already. Thanks!

Thanks to the whole Killboy.com group for making this an event to remember..............and providing the pics in case we lose our memories!

Maxxhavoc has some great shots there. How can I proceed using some of them in forum or website or thanking people for support? I'd like to give at least credit to the photographer when it is due.

Hey, I'm just a hack. If you want to use them, feel free. Just don't sell them or take credit for them yourself. If you want to thank me, sign up to volunteer (or race!) at a rally, and buy Killboy's pics of your car - he had a lot to do with getting this going and his stuff is better anyway.

Yeah not every day you get to view a run through a camera that rotates 180 degrees during a 360 degree spinout...not that either was intentional mind you.

This was my fastest run on Saturday timed at 2.04.0. As the video shows there are several seconds to be shaved off. I only managed to improve by ½ second on Sunday before the bad dip got the best of me on the very last run. My GoPro camera locked up on Sunday and thus did not get any recordings.

Good stuff so far everyone, thanks for sharing! I finally got this new (used) Mac Mini up and going for editing our videos of the hillclimb and other events. (previous owner password fiasco) My friend Josh is working on the more polished complete DVD footage which will be trimmed down somewhat...that will take a while longer. In the meantime, I figured each racer would probably prefer to have access to all of the unedited raw footage, so I'm working on breaking up just the footage of each car into separate folders, (already finished this) and making a single 720p video file (slightly downscaled so you can upload easier if you choose to do so) of all of the footage of each car in there as well, so you can easily view/upload the complete compilation, or you can use the raw clips in your own videos if you have some onboard footage or just want to view them in the full resolution. No fancy editing or music, other than the melody of highly-tuned (ahem) combustion engines. These should fit on a DVD as there's only a couple of minutes of each car running in anger, with the exception being the Red Mini footage...I let the camera run during the whole recovery process, so that's a big file. There's also a lot of "candid" stuff, like parades back down hill and a few launches from the line/etc that will all be included with every package of individual car footage. Probably offer these at something like $20 per car, $200 for all footage of all cars, but I'll have to work out a hard-drive delivery/return process for anyone that orders the latter. I'll be posting up previews of each car's video compilation as they are finished, starting with the lowest numbered vehicles so you'll have to wait till near the end for the Locost show. It's crunching away at the output of the Candid footage right now.. So I hope that sounds reasonable, just wanted to let you all know that we're still working on it as much as possible while still running the "other" side of the business.

Killboy, you are certainly raising the bar on motorsports photography and video. Folks at work are awestruck at my new desktop as it appears on the widescreen monitor
Thanks, Mark

Hey thanks man...you know it was hardly work, we had a great time and got the best show anyone could ask for, but I do want to compensate my guys some even though they said they didn't want anything. They were just loving the show as much as me! (we're all car/bike/racing nuts)
