The course is fast and technical...Being patient is rewarding..Why did you not like it?

I did really well in the resuilts but didnt like it. There were sections that were too fast to be safe , we had 21 ,4 wheel off incidents , 7 serious offs , 3 cars were damaged too bad to continue , and three motors were blown because of the extremely high speed sweeperS.

Seems like people need to build better motors, Wish i could of went i'd be one of the people off the course too ;D

Or if its a problem of blowing your motor, shift...

It wasnt a near the rev limiter issue , it was high rpm combine with long high G sweepers that both held oil in the top of the motors and then uncovered the oil pump pickups at the same time , starving the motor for short bursts. After the first 2 blew I added a half quart of oil to mine . The CRX should have done the same.

After the first 2 blew I added a half quart of oil to mine . The CRX should have done the same. I wasn't there so this is in way of a question not an argument... I only saw one sweeper, really didn't appear all that long... I've run MANY sweepers on track (as I'm sure you have) that were longer and at much higher speeds and didn't have any problems with oil starvation ... I even contacted OPM about a special oil pan since the CRX sees as much track time as it does and they said they use OEM pans on their Integra/Civic/CRX's with no problems so are there any other possible reasons / explanations that have surfaced since the event ?

The one big sweeper from saturday started on the taxiway and did more than 180 degrees all the way onto the main runway and about and in my car was a total of about 8-9 seconds of one continuous corner , this just after a 14-16 seconds spent at the top of 2nd gear on and off the rev limiter . 14 seconds at the top of 2nd pumps the oil to the top of the motor faster than it can work its way back , then an 8 second , top of 2nd gear sweeper that left me on the revlimiter just after straightening the wheel , then it was 3rd gear the entire next 22 seconds or so.

I think the main problems with the courses were that they were very busy, but you had very little to do.
If you watch the videos you will see that the wheel was constantly sawed from side to side, but there wasn't much wheel movement. The videos don't do a very good job of conveying just how tight some of the sections were.
Also the front half was all the same motions, and you were moving thru that side at nearly 60mph. Then the gate spacing would change and there were no real visual indications that you reached a section that was tighter. A 60mph its really hard to see a difference of say 5 feet, but that reduced space has a major effect on the cars reaction. This lead to many of the spins and in the grass excursions.
Also take into account the fact that the front half was on a 40 foot wide strip of asphalt. Virtually no margin for error at the speeds that were being run.
The sweeper was one of the highlight on the courses.
On the Back side there was very little difference in most of the elements, and again it was very hard to tell when you were approaching a tight section. There was very little visual indication that the section you were approaching was tighter. The course was marked the same way in the open and tight sections. There weren't visual markers to help distinguish the sections. This lead to people going off course or spinning, and at the speeds thru the course when you spun, you spun a LONG way.
There were a few good elements/features on the back side of the course, but they were few and surrounded by unpleasant elements.
There were very few areas where there was ANY line choice, and there was an over abundance of transitional elements. Very little variety of elements.
For the NCAC I expected much more from the courses. You expect to be challenged with a variety of elements/challenges.
My 2 cents.
Overall I was very disappointed.

Results are up. Please note, Ladies class results are all lumped together due to confusion on how we were awarding trophies up front, but we did award trophies for each Ladies class. Class ResultsRaw ResultsPAX Results
