Has something changed on the forums? I can no longer log in from my phone. When I try it leaves me as guest. I can use the iPad with no problem.

This is a little weirder now. If I turn on the wireless connection in my phone and log in through my router(Verizon) I have no problem. But if I go back to 3G(AT&T) I get put back as guest.

Weird, same thing's happening with me. If I'm connected to WIFI, I log in fine, but on AT&T network it shows me as guest when I try to log in. It's not a big problem for me because most of the time I'm connected to WIFI, but I just wanted to see if I got the same results as you guys.

AT&T might be doing transparent caching to speed up their networks at the expense of screwing up their user experience. You're requesting a page you've requested before, AT&T says "Hey I know this page" and serves up the cache it has locally instead of pulling the page. That's just my guess, though, since I know it works fine on Verizon so it's not some issue the board has with cell providers.

This gets stranger. When I when to TGPR in Alabama my 3G AT&T connection worked fine and logged me in as normal. It worked for a while last night when I get home but now is not working again. FWIW my Wi-Fi connection at home is through a Verizon air card.

I have a Samsung galaxy s2. I don't think I've ever tried to log in over the at&t network before so I don't know if this would be a new problem for me.

Yeah but you said you haven't tried to log in over AT&T. So you don't count . Log in over AT&T and see what happens

Check out my post about 5 or 6 posts up. When I said before, I meant I haven't logged in through AT&T before a couple of days ago when I tried just to see if it would work, so I don't know if it was something that just happened or if it's always been like that.

Definitely something AT&T is doing. My login stayed active all day on AT&T 3G. We were sitting in an office this afternoon and it lost all Internet, "E"dge came up, then 3G. It looked like the tower rebooted. Afterwards I could no longer log into the forums on my phone until I swapped up wi-fi at home. As soon as I swap back to 3G I am logged back out.
