Hey Rich, I need to know what I need to do to get in on Saturday morning? What time? Also, I'm going to need my car in the infield with me so I can hook my laptop up and dump off CF cards. From the sounds of it, there wasnt going to be a lot of space for parking, but I need to be inside somehow. Where do the road racers post? I would like to make an announcement that I'll be shooting their cars as well. Also, perhaps during the driver meeting I can pass out cards to those who don't frequent the forum board. Thanks! Just sign the waiver... same as our usual events. Go around the back side of the Speedway. There should be parking for you, so no worries. Road racers post in - get read - our road race forum. Sorry, had to say it!! We have a section for road racing, but I'm not sure how active they are compared to us. They do have some other forums. I'll see what I can find.

Whats a SCCA Road race anyway? What should I expect? The road races uses the NASCAR oval and the infield race section. Entrance is at the end of the front straight, snakes around between NASCAR 1 & 2 and exits in NASCAR 1. There's a big fence and guard rail between the spectator areas of the infield and the infield portion of the track. As for what to expect, they'll be loud and quick. Speeds on the back straight for the faster cars (sports racers and formula cars) will be 150 or so.
