From the good news/bad news department.... The bad news is that some folks have been having a hard time with Fotki's less than user friendly interface. The good news, is that I am in the process of fixing that. New photos from the Lowes event will be available this week on a new hosting site. I think you will all like the new interface...The images can be displayed much larger.....downside...its a lil more expensive....I had to increase the price per photo by 75 cents for the 4x6's. Sorry  I will be migrating all the galleries so please be patient. Also, for all of you have ordered, I will be emailing you your photos, I promise! |

Some comments: I don't know about the ordering process, but I liked viewing the photos better at Fotki. Also, I understand the need to protect the images, especially with the larger sizes, but the "Proof" watermark is huge and very distracting. Maybe a smaller one oriented diagonally would be easier on the eyes.
Some Questions: 1) Are all the pictures from Lowes up on the new gallery? I can't seem to find a few that I saw last night. Same thing for Kannapolis. 2) Would you consider selling just the digital files? I like your work but I have no interest whatsoever in prints.

I have allowed SmugMug to give you a choice of how to view the pics. You can make a selection near the top of the screen, where it says STYLE....there are several nice ways to look at the pics. I removed the watermark..I have no control over where it is placed or how big it is...just that I can turn it on or off. its off now. I left the house with some of the Lowes uploading and all of the K Town loading. Lowes are not finished being processed yet...I hand crop each one and fix some details..its time consuming. If you're buying a photo of yourself you can pretty much do the things that you mentioned. It gets very dangerous to start purchasing photos of other peoples cars for advertising purposes. If it's yours and you're not planning on suing yourself, then by all means, you can edit and do with it as you please  |

I have good shots of your car from all three of the last events... I didn't get too many from the back straightaway though....I will look. I do have some nice finish line shots with most everyones cars and the lowes billboards in the background.
