Now that we're officially half way through the season, I'm listing some of the classes where the season title is still up for grabs.
See everyone at NTI on the 9th!
SS 28 = 4 - 9 - 0 - 9 - 6 = Miklas 27 = 0 - 6 - 6 - 6 - 9 = McGrath
Commentary: In a battle between Corvettes, these two have gone back and forth all season. Can John's C5 beat Justin's C6 at NTI's tighter course setup?
CS 27 = 9 - 9 - 0 - 0 - 9 = Freeman 23 = 4 - 4 - 9 - 0 - 6 = Crummett
Commentary: Bill was less than a second behind John at K-town, can he get his first win at NTI?
HS 24 = 0 - 6 - 0 - 9 - 9 = Guinn 23 = 4 - 4 - 9 - 2 - 4 = Raley
Commentary: Brian Guinn and his Protege has dominated HS, but can Jeff Raley's event consistency keep up?
ASP 36 = 6 - 6 - 9 - 9 - 6 = Bifano 28 = 4 - 9 - 0 - 6 - 9 = Smith
Commentary: Another battle of the Corvettes just like AS, these two C5's keep going back and forth. Can Smith eat away at Bifano's lead?
EP 25 = 4 - 0 - 6 - 6 - 9 = Findlan S 24 = 0 - 0 - 9 - 9 - 6 = Findlan C
Commentary: Nothing like a classic father/son competition, who will end up with the season title?
STS2 29 = 4 - 9 - 6 - 4 - 6 = Little 29 = 6 - 6 - 4 - 9 - 4 = Byrd 28 = 9 - 4 - 9 - 6 - 0 = Casino
Commentary: A compelling 3 way battle with each competitor having logged a victory against the other two. Arguably the most parity among any CCR class.
STX 34 = 4 - 6 - 9 - 9 - 6 = Winn 27 = 6 - 4 - 4 - 4 - 9 = Kornhaus
Commentary: Dueling WRXs are keeping the hunt for the STX season title close, will Steven Kornhaus' last win give him momentum to close the gap?
Pro 29 = 4 - 4 - 3 - 9 - 9 = Rankins 23 = 6 - 2 - 6 - 6 - 3 = Ezelius 17 = 2 - 1 - 9 - 4 - 1 = Bruner
Commentary: Rankins started slow but has proven dominant in the last two events, will he hold on for the season title?

Less than a second behind, on second season on the Hoosiers vs second season for John on his 710s, ... well, and he has a wee bit of HP advantage... but, who's countin' ?

Hmmm..some thoughts on the standings..
EP 25 = 4 - 0 - 6 - 6 - 9 = Findlan S 24 = 0 - 0 - 9 - 9 - 6 = Findlan C
Commentary: Nothing like a classic father/son competition, who will end up with the season title?
--- welllll....Son is quicker! But Dad is more experienced....Believe it or not - we enjoy each others successes....or losses..or something..never mind!
Well, that is because we have a Big Byrd and a Little Rich against the SS Impaler driver CaSSino who has managed to steal a ride in car that is half of what he is used to!...Darn it is fun to watch these three in action and to see the exciting comments on the forum.
BTW - I'm back from a long week working in Florida! looking forward to NTI - may even let a student try out the Fiasta!

Well it looks like I am going to have to come back and give it my all to make up for these two missed events. Lucky for me the fact that I havent raced since may shouldnt effect me since my first event back will be the 24, plenty of practice time.

HS 24 = 0 - 6 - 0 - 9 - 9 = Guinn 23 = 4 - 4 - 9 - 2 - 4 = Raley Commentary: Brian Guinn and his Protege has dominated HS, but can Jeff Raley's event consistency keep up? The only way I have a chance is if Brian misses a few, and don't fergit That Darn Pickem-Up, he's neck to neck with me every time!! Usually beats me !!

Looks like i need to move on what I can for SM points...otherwise, I can forget about it in STS STX and PRO...
Maybe I'll run the Type-O in SM instead of FSP this weekend...

I'm getting ready to make my move on Steve I really hope that's refers 100% to autox only... If so, bring it on Beetleman! ;D More Tired Class Trash talk: Bug man has overlooked the fact that he is not even in 2nd place (or maybe he IS thinking about some other kind of move) Meanwhile I've got new steering column bushings, new rear shock links (found one broken after last event), revalved rear shocks, new...okay, make that newly acquired period correct Momo steering wheel - and I'm thinking about bolting on my factory steel hard top (just betting a small weight penalty is worth a little rigidity) SO: After Sunday will I call my car "The Nissan Hunter" or just "The Bug Squasher"? ;D We shall see. Cheers Jack Mc Triumph TR6
