Just to clarify, I drew that green box from my own guestimation so they still may only use half of it.

;D Well, I am practicing launches and shifts (not something I am accustomed to). I think if anything, we will have a lot more fun than our times indicate. Got my new helmet in the mail today, if I can figure out how it goes on, I think we will be okay!! If you need to see how the helmet goes, you need to look at the "Grand Champion" at the bottom of this page www.gophergas.com/funstuff/womendrivers.htm

Last year the green area was split between the dog show RVs and the grid/part of the course. Looks like we'll have very slightly less course area this year, but it's still a huge lot. And, I'm still looking forward to it!

Actually the course started at the back door to the Pavilion( center of the small white building)We used ony two rows for grid and the timing van.It should come out to about the same space as last year.

If anyone wants to know exactly how big the course was last year, go to my website and check out the in-car videos.

I enjoyed driving those courses that weekend. Wish I hadn't drank so much Satiddy nite, though.

Heck....I'm going to enter my other car in AP and pick up 10 points for CCR.
Need to start looking for classes with no entries.
This is a great idea isn't it?
See how crazy this is going to get.

Laguna, you want to co-drive with me so we can pick up 16 club points?
Or better yet, why don't you enter DP and pick up 10.
We can both get co drivers and pick up 16 points for CCR in each class.

Except AP no longer exists. It is now XP and it would require that you beat Patrice Bousquet.

Ah, are all the Ladies in one Pax class now? No, that is just how our registration page is set up. There will be individual ladies classes.

This kind of behavior is discouraged. No one will be policing it, but the Club Cup isn't meant to be a joke. If one club wins with tactics like this....did you really win? Also, if you do this, realize others will catch on and probably follow suit. This is going to create quite a nightmare for registration on Saturday morning. Please govern yourselves accordingly. There shouldn't be any other strategy than showing up, making the best runs you can, and having fun.

This club points thing used to look like a good idea. Almost had me ready to give up on going to Orangeburg.
But now, it looks like it has been fixed beyond repair....and it wasn't even broken.

This club points thing used to look like a good idea. Almost had me ready to give up on going to Orangeburg. But now, it looks like it has been fixed beyond repair....and it wasn't even broken. I understand that there have been many changes in the club cup points/rules over the last few weeks. Understand, they were all made to try and better the competition for the cup and allow everyone to contribute to their club. They have all been discussed and approved by all club officers as well. There have been numerous complaints made to me about engineering the rules in one club or another's favor, particularly Tarheel. Opening the rules to allow all classes (no matter how many clubs are represented) to be eligible for Club Cup points....probably helps Tarheel the least due to our small representation in the prepared and mod classes. We will not be encouraging anyone to change classes just for the sake of points and I will personally have a discussion with anyone in our club that I find doing this. The Club Cup will be as good as the effort that everyone puts towards it to make it fun and competitive.

Sorry if you took it that way, Stephen. I wasn't accusing you of anything.
I just find this less appealing than what I had previously understood as being the basis for the club title.

Yeah you made a point alright, and I think we'll all agree that the event will be better off if you aren't there. You aren't being a part of the solution so that puts a big ole "PROBLEM" right sqaure on you. Please, please, please go to Orangeburg. Oh, and if you do decide to show up at the last minute to cherry pick a class, let me know in advance so I can snipe it at the last minute and beat you in a lowly G-Stock Celica. Scott
