Whoo hoo...Day 1 is dun and was fun. 5 run groups seemed confusing at first, but worked out. Course felt a bit gritty and slick - lots of turns and plenty long enough. Good to see so many CCR folks out there. Hopefully not too many "enjoyed" the brewfest - If you did, I hope you took along a couple guys from the other clubs and made sure they were in similar condition! LOL. Whew - got hot out there - really envious of you folks who have air conditioning in your race cars, or a radio for that matter. Looking forward to seeing you all there again tomorrow! The Mrs. did her first offishiul AX today and I think had fun. I know your Mrs had a great time, I was on work duty with her today and we discussed it!!

Does anyone know the "final" club points for the event? Not a clue; I never got to hear them as I left early. I couldn't make it for the first day so I wasn't eligible for anything other than Pizza. -Biggly

Does anyone know the "final" club points for the event? Unofficially (I still have 2 people I am trying to figure out if they belong to one of the clubs...but they are 3rd and 4th place finishers, so they won't change it much).... THSCC - 267 CCR - 215 Triad - 189 Highlands - 50 Not bad for CCR. Your guys weakness was depth. If you had the attendance #'s to grab some more 2nds, 3rds, and 4ths, it would have been closer. Tarheel only had one more 1st place finish than you guys (and we would have been tied if you count Novice). Triad was right behind with 11 and Highlands had 3. Great driving guys.

I asked Steven about this today due to me driving the Laguna Miata for points but wanting to drive the Imp afterwards. Stevens response was that I could bring a whole car dealership with me if I wanted as long as any car was teched and I was respectfull of others in grid.

NCAC club clup points must be a MESS as look at CS and I ran # 5 but another club got points with a driver x "ricky white".
If the points were that close and I found this error, were there more to be found?
Mike Grumbles "Will the real CS#5 please stand up!"
It was a blast and the hooters girls were appropriately named. I want to see photos too!

There were so many miatas there. But I didn't see many BMW z3 roadsters registered. Are they slower than miatas?

There were so many miatas there. But I didn't see many BMW z3 roadsters registered. Are they slower than miatas? It depends who's driving? Really though, I think it has to do with being 2-3 times expensiver. I got my miata with 35k miles for $11k. To find a Z3 with that kind of mileage........it might be missing the motor.

There were so many miatas there. But I didn't see many BMW z3 roadsters registered. Are they slower than miatas? Being outnumbered is just another testament of the superiority of the car, and of course, my superiority.

I actually caught all (including yours) but one or two of the errors before we announced them at the event. The 2 I missed were 3rd and 4th place finishes that didn't effect the point totals overall that much.
