The tech form looks a little intimidating. Do you have to get a shop to fill that out or something? When do you have to have the form and checked mailed in by? This would be my first PDE... You bring the tech form to the event, but payment and the registration form should be sent out as soon as you can. I haven't gotten any answer on who can fill out the tech form. Anyone know who to ask?

I would be 100% there (I've had a blast at my last two CMP events) except my "race car" isn't currently in track worthy engine condition (which is why I've been autocrossing other people's cars lately).

Steven, please consider some of the reasons many of us autocross:
1. A class for almost any car - no modifications required 2. Low cost 3. Extremely safe with little chance of damage to your car or yourself 4. Challenging and a lot of fun
HPDE and Solo Trials are stepping stones to road racing, and most of us don't have the time, money or inclination. (as a former road racer, I can vouch for the big bucks required...)
Remember that it is autocross that has the largest participation of any motor sport in the world - not road racing...
I personally miss the annual autocross at CMP...
