CCR sponsored an EVO School a couple of years a go, and I am wondering about the interest of having another one. Its an all day school with a small number of students and with a couple of instructors and you get about 16 runs. It was very interesting and I know its hard to tell, but I think I did learn from it. Last time we had a level one school on Sat and one on Sunday, but there is also a level 2 school offered. The school costs about $225. It would be offered somewhere in the area. Any interest?? Dave

I need that school badly! The raw time gap between me and the Giant Genie continues to grow at an alarming rate!

We'll be doing the Evo Phase One next season fer shur; the only question really is where. ATL is hosting one around May, but I'd like to get one in before then...if possible. There's also one in Nashville around March.
If CCR hosts one early in the season, count us in!!!

Would this be held in the spring?
Edit: If I've been to an autocross school before, would this still be beneficial? I dont' know anything about the Evolution AutoX school... what exactly do you learn?

The Evolution autocross schools are great. They cost a lot more than most region's normal schools (around $225-250) but you get a lot of seat time, split times for each segment of the course, and some very experienced instructors (the instructors for my Phase 1 were Jinx Jordan and Rob Falkner). Check out their website for more info: www.autocross.com/evolution/

I'm definitely in.
I've realized that a driving school will be the best money spent on my auto-x hobby.

I have sent an e mail to Jean with Evolution inquiring about a course in the spring. I would love to have a level 1 on Sat and level 2 on Sunday. I will keep everyone informed. Dave

I have two questions about Evolution Schools.
1) Are you required to take a Phase 1 before you can do Phase 2, even if you're experienced?
2) Will they allow you to take both Phase 1 & 2 in the same weekend?

I have two questions about Evolution Schools. 1) Are you required to take a Phase 1 before you can do Phase 2, even if you're experienced? yes, as we use the same techniques and expand on them. I took a phase one after 15 years in the sport and found it helped me be a better driver. when I teach I still learn every weekend that I teach. 2) Will they allow you to take both Phase 1 & 2 in the same weekend? Yes, but if you let the phase one sink in for a few events. it seems to stick better. P. S those past student's do you have your list ? thanks Rob Falkner

Is the $240 for both events? If we choose to do both days on separate weekends, we don't have to pay $480, right?
