On October 6-8, 2006 GT LIVE crashes into the East Coast with an unparalleled line-up of motorsports and sport-compact excitement.
Burning up the pavement at the beautiful and recently renovated VIRginia International Raceway, GT LIVE teams up, once again, with the Grand American Road Racing Series to provide fans with three days of unmatched automotive fun in the premier interactive motorpsorts festival in the country.
VIR's unique circuit permits two separate road course configurations to run simultaneously during the three-day festival. In addition to the two Grand Am Cup 6-hour races on the main road course, GT LIVE will feature the GT Sim Race, US Stunt Riding Championship, GT Track Attack, Spoon Sports Festival, Tarzan's Lap Battle, a NCCA sanctioned Car Show, Go Karts, Rally-X and more!

GT Sim Race
The GT Sim Race brings you closer to the racing action than you ever thought possible by offering passenger rides in the hottest cars with the coolest drivers. Cars range from full race prep GT cars to time attack legends like the Cyber Evo with Tarzan Yamada at the wheel.
Grand American Cup Road Racing Series
Grand Am Cup features battles in two different classes including sports cars from Mazda, Acura, Ford, Nissan and BMW. This October, VIR will play host to two 6 hour endurance races, GS class on Saturday and ST class on Sunday.
GT Track Attack Championship
Time attack has grown tremendously over the last few years and the GT Track Attack Championship has taken the sport to the next level. Following up on the successful opening round at Phoenix in May, the GT Track Attack at VIR promises to be an epic battle between the top tuners as the top unlimited time attack cars from Japan face off with some of the fastest cars in the States. The action will be furious as teams compete for their share of the $10,000 in prize money that is up for grabs at the conclusion of the final Saturday session on the 3.27 mile main VIR road course.
Tarzan's Lap Battle
Got a fast street car? Prove it!
If you own a street registered Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi or Ford and you want to see how it will do against the clock and others with similar cars, Tarzan's Lap Battle is for you. This amateur time attack style event gives tuner car owners a safe and exciting environment to test their machines against the clock and each other in a one-up, timed lap format. Drivers of the top three cars in each of the six categories (Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Ford) will have the option to turn their cars over to the capable hands of time attack King and Tsukuba Circuit Champ, Tarzan Yamada, where he will attempt to beat the winning time set by the car owner in their own car. Winners can look forward to impressive media coverage and Tarzan will provide feedback and tuning recommendations on each car he drives.
The XDL U.S. Stunt Riding Championship
An invitation-only freestyle stunt competition, the XDL US Stunt Riding Championship will crown the best stunt rider in the country at the end of 2006. The first “Best of the West” elimination round was held in Phoenix in May and pulled out all the stops to give west coast stunting fans a show they will not soon forget. The east cost invitational at VIR will see the 15 to 20 of the best riders in the east battle it out for the top 10 transfer spots to the season finale. Riders will compete for 10Gs cash in Pro Individual Freestyle.

This National Custom Car Association (NCCA) sanctioned Car Show at GT LIVE is a fair, fun, and exciting competition with a starting purse of over $1,000 and awarded points that will accrue toward NCCA National Championship scores.
Impact Custom Bike Show @ GT LIVE
The Impact Custom Bike Show @ GT LIVE promises to be one of the prime activities during the GT LIVE motorsports festival weekend. Motorcycle shops, builders and individuals are invited to participate. The Impact Custom Bike Show @ GT LIVE will be set up under a dedicated tent with smooth concrete flooring in a high-traffic area right in the middle of the GT LIVE festival.
USDrift Shootout
Get ready for high speed, smoke filled, sideways action as the USDrift Shootout tears up VIR's Patriot Course during the GT LIVE weekend. The USDrift Shootout is open to both professional and experienced amateur drivers. The event will put qualified drivers in a Sunday head-to-head tandem competition round where the top drivers will battle for a chance at $2,500 in total prize money.
VIR Karting Zone
Almost every successful professional racing driver in the world today got their start in karting, where the dynamics and sensations of competitive driving are amplified, more easily understood and often more readily practiced than in full-sized cars. The professional grade 5/8-mile kart track at VIR offers fans an opportunity to hone their racing skills on a state-of the-art 24-foot-wide paved karting circuit. Touch-and-go kart, driving suit, helmet and gloves are provided, all you have to do is stand in line and wait your turn.
NICOFest at GT LIVE

NICOFest will offer no less than four different participation options including a car show, time attack, rally-x and drifting.
