Hey guys! I'm gonna be there on Sunday. If there's a spot open on the team, I'd like to participate.

Mike: I'll shoot Scott a PM and see what their plans are. I'm sure they'll make as many events as possible. Phil: Awesome on the t-shirt printing. If possible, I'd like a white XL. Just let me know how much they are and I'll pay you Sunday. So how are we for covering 5 classes? John runs in "Pro," so that'd be great. The reason I invited...then had to univite Matt P. was cuz of our STS heavy roster...he runs in STS2. If you want me to invite him again, I will. However, I really don't want to have to univite him...again. If he again agrees, and we have to later make a cut, then cut me. Besides, he's a better driver. Anyway, lemme know!

I don't really care about the trophies or t-shirts or whatever, but if you want to count my times I'm fine with that. If someone wants to pay my $10, they can have my shirt and trophy and any of the other stuff associated with the team competition. I haven't really been paying attention to what is involved.

I will run stx to cover 5 classes it doesn't matter how I place I'mma gunna have fun
Matt the trophy and shirts are if we win the season. I am providing shirts because I can and it looks good to have a unified team (or some junk like that).
now what's involved in team competition...... have fun and trash talk Team Beer that's pretty much it.

Awesome, Matt! Again, welcome aboard! Here's an idea to add a little drama to the fray... Perhaps someone could provide a brief sound byte of a large wave to the T/S guys to be played whenever a Team member is ready to take the start! For example... The announcer says, with all due drama and intonation, "On the line, car number thirty three STS2, Matt P. in his Honda CRX driving for Team Rising Tsunami <wave sound byte>." (I kinda have a vivid imagination) ;D

Alright guys since the event is tomorrow I guess I should go ahead and make the roster changes official. Im gonna remove Anna and add John and Chris since they were the first two to ask. Sorry Matt but if someone wants to give up a spot then I can add you. You will have to pay the $10 dollars though. From the way I understand, everyone has to contribute if they race on a team.
Oh yea and Phill do I get the cool captain logo added to my T-shirt???hehe.

So what's the official roster for tomorrow? Do we have to buy the T-shirt? Or just pay the $10 entry fee? Are we all meeting up somewhere at the event? John

John you just have to pay me the $10. Phill is doing the shirts on the side. You can look for me, I'll be in the old school integra. If not then I will be on the look out before the event. I'll have to talk some smack to your bro anyways.

You're definately fast enough. We can take the big boys down!! Do a little Rabbit huntin'... Ya see, i lack this very important little quality called consistency... fast at Greer and slow at Conti. I just couldn't get the whole second half of this course today--no idea why, just wasn't clicking. This is the main reason i don't run Pro class. I am fast enough--on occasion, but i want to get consistent before i make the jump. I would have been utterly embarrassed in Pro today--glad i ran open....especially for the sake of the team. thanks for your contributions everyone! it was a fun event!

I just realized this: WE BEAT TEAM SUBIE!!! Wow!!! Chris: I think we may've seen you on I-85 yesterday morning headed to the event. Were you following a Subie wagon? I saw a "Solo2" sticker on a MSP and thought that might've been you. PS: I won't make the June event; we (HSCC) have a race scheduled that day as well. If you need to make a roster change, I understand.

Yeah, that was me (following austin smith--29TDS) I didn't realize it was you until you passed and waved. Kewl...at least we know each other's cars! We hadda stop and buy $2 of gas...I was on "E" by the time we got to Charlotte. I guess I miscalulated my fuel milage. Note to self: 42 MPG "Normal Driving." 35 MPG with an autocross. Personally, I think I'm kinda getting the "consistency" thing. My runs were within a half second, or so. I need to step it up to the next level. I should've been in the 36's yesterday, perhaps even hoping for high 35's. Oh, well. It was certainly fun and I was really glad I could contribute to the team. Off to the TSCC Autocross School, plus a few more HSCC events, before I'll see you guys again.
