uhm, a graphic artist is the printer. a graphic designer is the designer...ppl get that ish confused all the time
i dont think we should use a formula car (ur illustration is nice tho). a graphic symbol (not a car, although one can be hidden in the logo, i just did that for a client) would be cool. if the words dark horse is the name, i really like the idea of a black knight chess piece. i think its prolly pretty cliche, but i like it. we can also look at what is associated w/ the words black and horse, seperate and together. also look up there meanings and synonyms. thats is where i usually start w/ logo design. the team tsunami one had no research and i'd say pretty much sucked.

Go Team BEER - nice to see you guys working hard on a new team - Do you need a logo? Team Beer thought about one, and then another, and another...finally we decided to finish the 6 pack and we never got around to that logo thing.

You could go for Black Horse Racing, Black Horse And A Cherry Tree Racing, Team Underdog, Team Underwear, Team Underthere, Team We're Not In Last Place, Team Appliance, Team Lakinooki, (that is a Hawaiian team) . I will think of some more later, I am here to help you any way I can.
