Well so far we have Jeannie Markowski-CPL Colin Findlan-EP Rick Belden-SM2 Bruce Seafler-FS Rob Seafler-PFS Rich Little-STS2 Bill Baker-ESP Walter Jones-DSP All registered and ready to throw down. BS has a decent PAX and I love me some Guinness. Can I join?? For this upcoming event I'll be on a totally stock, as delivered car but will shortly have all the stuff necessary to get myself back up to a consistent top 10 PAX.

He can have my spot. I'm not sure how much I will be able to contribute this year, even if I do get the OK.
I'll sit for the good of the team.

I don't want to bump anyone off the team It looked like you guys needed some more people from the post I quoted and I really like Guinness so I thought I'd be a good fit. Looking at it now I realize those are the team members registered for the upcoming event. I would like to be on your team and if someone would be gracious enough to give me their spot I would be honored. p.s. I could run in STU for the 0.002 PAX advantage

I turned in the roster below - based on earlier responses. So, I hope we have a few folks show up at the event next weekend to make Team Beer a force to be feared (or beered??).
NAME/ CLASS Colin Findlan - EP Rich Little - STS2 Walter Jones - DSP Derek May - CSP Bruce Seafler - FS Robert Seafler - Pro-FS Bill Baker- ESP Jeannie Markowski - CPL Bill Crummett - ES Mike Casino - Pro something or another.... Ken Christopher - BS? Rick Belden SM2
Any changes for the above list? Let me know. Thanks

I'll likely be a no-show both days this weekend due to having company in town and the fact that I'm 'required' to be at work for a few hours on Sunday (which I'm also skipping to deal with company).

I'll definitely be at this weekends event as a new CCR member (as of Thursday last week) and I plan on attending as many CCR events as I can this year. I'd really like to join the TEAM BEER! team and damnyankee has offered up his position. I'll change my registration for this event to STU for the PAX advantage and everything P.S. I looked at the numbers and if I was on the team at event 1 I would have had the 3rd best PAX time for the team (30.250) in an automatic, street tire shod AS car. Let me know guys.

Wow...YamnDankee is gonna drop from Team Beer.....sheeshh, what next...Davidson in the final four?
Yep, we can suck you into Team Beer....that Pax stuff is pretty impressive isn't it... it allows Miller Light to claim that it is as good as a real beer (such as Bass, Guinness, Sierra Nevada).
You will find this to be a fun group...we enjoy spirited competition and the variety of cars we bring to the game. See you Sunday! I will be with the rusty Ford Fiesta that is missing a few parts...

BTW - guess I will need your name and what kind of sheet metal you will be pushing around. Drop me a PM if you don't want to post it here. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend.
Tell Ken he can still be an honorary member of Team Beer.

Miles Barden 07 Mazda RX8 BS
Since my car is bone-stock I'll run in STU at this event for the pax advantage. Once the Hoosiers go on I'll be in BS.
Thanks for having me and as always... Cheers!

Thanks Shane, it kills me to give up the spot but, like I said in an earlier post, I'm not sure I would be able to contribute (read : HELP THE TEAM) this year. I would hate to be the one that holds Team Beer from claiming the #1 spot!!! So, Miles.....{DY bows gently out of the way}.....you owe me a beer!! LOL

With my 29.432 it looks like I came in 15th RAW and 17th PAX overall (but PAX may be the 2007 numbers). Not bad for a car that is 100% as delivered from the factory. Where'd everyone else end up??

I am waiting for the updated final pax results to do the team results. yeah I am lazy I know, but I did knock out 3 out of the 4 indexed classes so Steve could get the season points done. Miles if you dont start picking up the pace a bit we may have to re-think this whole thing. Just a guess but I do think Team Beer more than showed up today! And I need to get a stiffer car. ;D

Miles if you dont start picking up the pace a bit we may have to re-think this whole thing. As much as I like salsa I do prefer Guinness, it's much easier to chug ;D I'll look into an autox school or something like it soon. I know that I looked pretty sloppy out there and frankly I'm disappointed in me too On a more serious note. I have a set of Hoosiers from 2006 Nationals with about 100 runs on them. I plan to have them on the stock wheels for the next event so watch for the Pace Picante to be flying off the shelves.

Did Walter show you the magnets he had made up? I proudly display mine every time I race & show my car.

Yeah you should look into a school for sure, that sloppy driving will not be tolerated. You should keep in mind you are still in the probationary period here on Team Beer. ;D A top 20 pax is quite a showing in a brand new car with zero prep. Great work!

It seems as though the magnets are the only way I'm going to contribute this season... 2 times in a row with mid 50's for pax .... not good... must go faster, must go faster, must go faster..

If you'll just continue catching me slowly enough maybe, just maybe I'll figure out how to make this thing go faster...

Well, I never could figure out how to drive on cold slix...but Colin did his usual fine job and managed to crank out a decent set of times in a little grocery getter rustbucket. Good thing he is on the team and I am just the captain.
Miles - good showing.....but, we do get concerned at Team Beer when someone uses the word "seriously" in a post.....
The amazing thing is that once again, Team Beer causes some embarrassment to those teams that were carefully assembled to maximize PAX values. Shoot - some of our cars (such as the Fiesta) are hardly going to help with a winning PAX. But we sure do have fun!!! and, Who needs an end of year trophy when we can have a cold frosty one at the end of the day!
Good showing folks!!!
