If this is repeated advice, I apologize in advance. I guess if you've been involved in Solo events for a while, it's kinda easy to take for granted the benefits of having our Knight's Series. Not to mention, this is the first season we've had this series... But, a new driver may not immediately see the benefits of the series. Besides being cooler, the opportunity to run the same course for the duration of the series makes for essentially a series of test-n-tunes. Not having to worry about learning a new course at every event allows for a new driver to concentrate on...well...DRIVING. Additionally, the smaller field allows for more runs. I was thrilled to have 6 runs at Knights #2 and 5 last Knight (night/nite)! Also, smaller fields allow for a more relaxed environment. Experienced drivers are more willing to take/give ride-alongs and advice. Of course, the same benefits hold true for experienced drivers. It's nice to compare notes with guys like Jinx, Rob, and all the other uber-fast drivers. All of that, PLUS it was WAY cool watching Rankin's front pads illuminate the night! Anyway, at the risk of becoming redundant, I thought I'd mention our Knights Series here. I think the series is a GREAT idea and has huge benefits, especially for our newer drivers. Thoughts?
