The Clemson Sports Car Club uses the old Anderson Fairgrounds. It's small, but nice. An hour's drive from Greenville, SC.
Typically the cars drive two laps in an elongated oval with technical areas in the wider sections and a couple of slaloms. With two laps, most drivers get at least a minute of seat time per run.
Having another event close to Greenville might help grow the SWCCCR chapter. Please let me know if you'd like me to follow-up with CSCC about contacts to inquire about the site.

Sweet! I thought about a site. The old charlotte coliseum on Tyvola? I went by it the other day and it is now just a huge parking lot! If you think it is a good idea, let me know and I will begin looking into it. Thanks!!

It was supposed to be torn up for the new condos that were supposed to go in, but that plan has now been scrapped. I will look into it.
