Last year I ran my VW GTI with a supercharger, suspension and 245 tires. My car is going back to stock. Stock exhaust, stock suspension, no supercharger, etc. My question is; I will still be using the 245 tire because I dont want to spend extra money to get the OE 225 tires because the 245 tires have only 7 runs on them.
What class will this put me into?
Thanks, Paul

Street tire correct? Aftermarket wheels?
I believe 245 keeps you out of an ST class, but I could be wrong. Depending on the wheels, you may or may not be in stock class. You may be in a SP class.

I can put the 245 tire on either my oem wheels or aftermarket wheels that have same offset and same size. The car came with 225 tires factory. The tires are street, they are the Dunlop Direzza Star Spec.
I would really like to run in the stock class but I dont know if my tires will let me.

If you have wheels that are the same width as your stock wheels, the same diameter as your stock wheels, and have an offset within a quarter-inch (6mm) of your stock wheels, then the wheels are eligible for stock class.
There are no tire size requirements for stock class. If it fits on you're stock-class-legal wheel and under your fenders, your free to go on tire size.
Remember though, your competitors may be running R comps in your chosen class.

You can run stock class, but I don't know which one, but you will likely run against cars on Hoosiers, and not be competitive.
You can run stock class with Tire PAX, and be competitive within your Tire class. The 245's are fine on stock sized rims.
You can leave the suspension, exhaust and the 245 tires and run STX, and be more competitive against everyone. You can go upto 265's and a 17"X9" rim also. Adding a cold air intake is also legal, but no supercharger.
