Yes. Pick an event and show up for a good time. That is a pretty sweet ride. It may be a little challanging for a Novice, but it will be fun. I'm fairly sure it will fall into a Street Prepared category, but the tune may make it a Street Modified car. Few events coming up in two regions close by to you. Florence Civic Center August 6th, 24 hour at Dixie Fairgrounds in Winston Salem September 3 and 4, Michelin Proving Grounds in Laurens in October but I can't remember the date.

It may not be SM legal, depending on weight. Max weight is 3100... also the engine may be too large for SM.
Most likely, ESP.

It would be legal for SM, SM wont make any car weigh more than 3100. But ESP is the class for you. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I have been autocrossing my camaro for a few years now so if you ever need any pointers let us know.

You can also ask SCCA national to class your car. Not sure how that's done - I know Lee Taylor did that recently- hopefully he can jump in on this..

I had forgotten that the firehawk was classed different than the normal firebird's. BSP is a tough class but Im sure you can have fun there.

Tire is also an option..
Remember - just because the car is fast doesn't mean the driver is.

The car is definitely faster than the driver, in the cones.
