Goodbye to racing for awhile-going into retirement

Fellow Race Enthusiasts, it has been my pleasure to have raced with you for the past 8 years. I have been fortunate to have built many friendships during this time...relationships I hope to rekindle in the future. I have come to the sad conclusion that I simply nolonger have time to allocate to my beloved hobby (I only completed one points race in 2011 and this year looks worse). As much as I enjoy driving my car, I only logged 700 miles in the past 2 years...the new supercharged motor only has ~2000 miles on it, barely broken in

It is driving me crazy that I have a great car and new gear that is basically just sitting in my garage, so I'm selling everything in one shot. I have listed the car and parts in the link in the For Sale Section here:

The CCR Region has been great to me over the years so I'm going to try and give back a little...here is the deal. If my car sells to anyone on this forum OR from a referral from anyone associated with the CCR then I will give $500 to the Referrer and $250 directly to the CCR Region. If I get the full asking price (and I priced it to move pretty quickly to the right buyer) then I will give $1000 to the referrer and $500 to the CCR region.

My way of saying thank-you for all you have done...and NOT laughing, atleast to my face as I tried to get my car around the track ;D

Thanks everyone, it has been fun. I knew it was time to hold off a little while when the stress of getting ready for a race outweighed the joy from acutally attending Just the way it is right now...I will be around probably just taking some pics (this is my other hobby). Unless of course I can find some slicks that will fit on my CTS-V...then it is on, ohh yeah! ;D
