Technically Simon Kim would still be Pro. He ran in Pro and was only .10 sec slower than his fastest time only run. The Time Only run being his fastest showed up in the PAX results. Brittany Edwards was in a "Pro" car and drove in the 3rd heat with the rest of the Pros since my normal codriver didn't make it.

I PAXed 48th out of 173 at the first ZMax event on crappy corded 280 treadwear factory runflats... then since I've gotten Star Specs I did 16th at Metrolina... 19th at LJVM with Triad... and what should have been 1st (if PAX were used) at the Clemson event. I PAXed 62nd this weekend. Now, there's a chance that I just completely forgot how to drive in that weekend off.... or... the pavement REALLY sucked during run group 1.

I understand ( knew as I posted ) that Brittany was driving a pro car and that Simon had run as pro ... was just trying to show that the top PAX spots were almost ALL "pro" drivers if they had been driving in their open classes, I really don't think there would have been that big of a change in the PAX results ....

I know a lot of folk were complaining about the sealer for the first run group ... it didn't seem to bother me all that much .... maybe if I'd driven harder I'd have had the same complaints as everyone else ... and maybe I'd have beaten AJ

I think it was a fun event, the course was good and people keep saying I drove well. Good first event of the season in the Protege for me.
