Cameron... WE ARE TOO! Glad you are coming... and I'm betting .. you will do it again! ;D There will be sign to guide you right to registration on Main Street. You will see a tent where registration is being held. Park your tow vehicle and trailer on the side of Main Street ... get registered. Roving Tech is our term for..."he'll come to you. Stay with your car." They will go car to car and get you set up. If you have an Annual Tech done and it's in noted in your logbook, they will need to see your helmet and logbook and won;t need to check your car (assuming you have not done any modifications recently... switched to methanol, added a turbine...usual stuff.) After they release you, you can follow the signs up to the hill and pick out a spot that will work for you. Our supps explain space and trailer space. There will be staff members there to help you. After you are settled, come on back to Main street for live music, dancing, food, hang out and relax with drivers, courseworkers and locals. The people in Robbinsville enjoy meeting the drivers and really appreciate the tourism and excitement we bring to their town. Over 20 of our cars will bear the name of a local sponsor that donated money to help with our event. And By The Way guys... when someone asks for your autograph, do it RIGHT! This is a BIG DEAL to them. Your signature (hopefully legible) and your car number... and where you are from is a nice touch if you have time! Trust me, they will remember next event, next year. There's nothing like giving your autograph to an awe struck kid, who in a couple of years just might be kicking your behind. That's how we grow this sport.

Cameron - I am a noob to driving in these events...my first hillclimb!! whoo hoo. But I have helped Tech in the past and a roving Tech is just that. Park your car where you see a bunch of other crazy people excited about tires and the smell of race gas..once you register the tech folks will track you/your car down to check out the safety equipment and your driver's gear. so have it readily avaiable for them to look it over. See you there....I will be driving a Purple Mazda Rx-7 - #84.

BTW...for those who are giving out autographs...carry a Sharpie marker in your car/uniform with you as that is something I found the Nascar drivers are great about doing....hard to sign with a ball point pen.
