Triad Sports Car Club will be hosting the Lane Industries Racing Gran Prix at the Dixie Classic Fairground in Winston-Salem , NC on June 3 . New sponsor at a great old site , lots of shade and grandstands for viewing . There will also be a bonus at this event as WXII Channel 12's Morning Anchor Nicole Ducouer and her boyfriend ( an over the wall crew member for Richard Childress Racings Nationwide team ) will be having a grudge match in their first ever autocross and will be filming for an up coming news segment . I'd love to attend, but I highly doubt I'll have my car back together before then. CMP ate up my brakes, fuel pump, and sprang an exhaust leak. All necessary parts have been ordered, but installed and whatnot by then probably won't happen.

Thats what friends and late night thrashes are for ! Indeed! Unfortunately I blew a seal in one of my front calipers, and since I have UUC's BBK I can only get a rebuild kit from them. It also happens that they don't currently have the seals in stock, so until they get things sorted out on their end there's nothing I can do. |

Lewis, the drive does suck but Triad is a lot of fun. Three hour drive for me up to Danville, I've done it twice this year and it's been worth it.
Stay posted on caravan info. Makes it better to travel with friends.
I'm hoping to make it.

I don't know the "official" Triad policy on membership recognition, but they have offered the member discount to SCCA card holders in the past.
And I agree - its worth the trip and they run excellent events. Join.
