Suggest some places on the south side of town  The Waldhorn is the only place I ever go to down there, so I'm tapped out on those ideas. Don't get me wrong, I would do every event there.... love me some schnitzel or bratwurst with spaetzle and a big stein of Spaten Oktoberfest.... but as I said before the price is a turnoff for a lot of people. If you have ideas for down there throw them out, by all means  |

Why is it a problem to drive from "South Charlotte" when folks like, oh i don.t know, James for instance, has to drive from Salisbury,or come from say Gastonia, or like me Locust? James has enough trouble having to do all the pre-work,make reservations and such, without all the complaining about who has to come from where. You want it in your backyard, take the job,get the place, then you can put up with everyone wanting it somewhere else! I for one thank James for getting a meeting back on track after "years" without one. Hope to see everyone at the next one!!

Yeah Tavern 24 is great but I don't know how they'd handle a large group. It's been a bit loud and crowded the times I've been there. We might be able to do it with one of the outdoor patio areas, but I'd rather wait till a month when we're not guessing whether it's going to be 20 or 80 on any given evening |
