Hi - My name is Jason, I live in Matthews NC. I used to Auto-X in Virginia Beach, over six years ago, and I want to get into the swing of things out here!
I drive a 2011 Mustang GT, 6-speed manual, and I would love to see how she does. Truthfully - I'm not expecting a fantastic performer with 400+hp on Auto-x, but we've all seen it done with any combination!
Previously I Auto-x'd, a Hyundai Tiburon (latest gen), and a Mazda RX-8.
So, is there anyone out here that can point me in the right direction to get started? Where to register, fees, locations, etc?
Thanks!

Sure - Come on out to the autocross this weekend at Z-Max drag Raceway. we use the massive parking area to do a fun and fast auto-x event. Registration and other info is available at: www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEventDetail.Show?psevent_id=13617&psmode=3Check the main www.ccrscca.com page and look at the bottom for more AX #1 -Z max info. Also, check out the forum info for Novices (even if you aren't one, lots of good advice and info on SCCA AX events).

You should try to make it out to zmax this weekend. It's a big lot that makes for good compromise between high and low hp cars.
