Man, looks like Mother's Day is putting a damper on the entries. I'm registered, but it took some serious negotiation skills. My wife wasn't thrilled with the idea of staying home alone with our 4 sons on Mother's Day while I autocrossed all day. Thankfully, I was able to arrange an early celebration of Mother's Day and get autocross "clearance".

Yeah, when we ran on father's day last year or the year before it was muuuuuch easier on the ears for most of us. AJ or Mike - Can either of you confirm with Metrolina if there are any other events going on that day that will take up our parking space? It always seems that parking (especially for trailers) is a hot button here and I'd like to try to prepare a bit better this time. PS - Feel free to bitch at me about having to park your trailer in the grass lot if/when I tell you that's the only area available, but don't expect me to care. I'm just the guy making you sign the waiver and have no control over where we can and can't park that day.

Registrations aren't terrible, thankfully. Look to be typical metro. Licursi and I suck at looking at holidays with our dates. We just worry about stepping over other events lol.
Thank you Andy!! We will confirm for you.

I can't go over speed bumps either You can just trailer your car over them. Or use some of 5011 ramps it takes to load your car up.

Fingers crossed I am debuting the Honda monster! A few teething problems found today, but it is very close to a first run.

Great job today, CCR! Roughly 80 drivers, and we each had four runs by 1:05 PM! For those for whom four runs were not enough, the competition was followed by more than two hours of fun-runs. I wouldn't want to run every event at Metrolina, but it was a welcome change-of-pace from the larger sites. Fun course! (Now let's get back to ZMax!)

Big thanks to the sweeper crew that got the dirty ass lot drivable today. That took a bunch of manpower to get done, great job.
As for today, had a great time and thanks to those that braved the wifes wrath and came out to have some fun.
Kuhn, nice Job. 9 runs and I couldn't get to your RAW time, well done!
Here are the Torque Monsters best runs.
cASSino's 37.4 - 4th in PAX
My best 37.3 - nothing in PAX, since it's a fun run, cuz I drove like a p*$$# and didn't put down the torque.
Watch out for the filth at Metrolina.

Mike the problem with the car is that you're probably running the wrong flavor of Dorito in the motor. I've heard and noticed that Cool Ranch is the perfect flavor for the RX8 motor.

You fool, it's not the flavor of the Dorito... it's the flavor of the dip!! Try switching from Salsa to Mild or even Cool.

Yes, I guess the Cultists didn't do our Cup efforts any favors with three of our four in the A bracket. But we can't complain. :-)

Yes ya got 66 pts with your 29 pts (awesome) and Licursi's 26 and James 11 . Followed by Team Dysfunctional with our 62 points off the work of casino, Derek and me (I actually) scored something. Team Subaru had 48 for 3rd. I think that pulled topless into overall 3rd place not that far off from dysfunctional in 2nd. Steven has the results I'm sure he will post something up soon. Good work everyone, Sunday we bring it again.

As usual I had a lot of fun at this event. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. I've really liked the course designs I've seen as well, definitely some interesting stuff. Yes, I guess the Cultists didn't do our Cup efforts any favors with three of our four in the A bracket. But we can't complain. :-) We barely missed that middle bracket! That would've been good, but whatever. You all did very well, so congrats! We'll make up for it later...
