hey all, my first autocross was this weekend and i must say, definately hooked, thanks to all who helped to put it on for us! Now..... my problem, i was wondering if anyone "saw" anything i was doing wrong(i was the stock red 03 civic in Emod).... cause i know i was doing something wrong, i just didnt feel comfertable. I'd appreciate any tips i could get(and yes, i just read the tips for novices, but i was wondering if anyone saw anything I specifically did wrong etc)......... any help would be greatly appreciated! And again, good times and much appreciation!

Welcome aboard! Look me up at the NCAC or 24 hr autocross. I'm the waiver guy, usually with the straw hat. Will try to watch your runs. Can at least get you in touch W/someone in a similar car. Wish u had said something at the event, one of the best things about auto-x is the willingness of peeps to help. James

Yup - i'll be glad to help too, as soon as I drag out my old Slowmaro to whup up on James in C-prep at the 24 hours..LOL.. But we would be happy to help you out anyway we can. My car would be somewhat similar with FWD and race slicks. It is the rustbucket red Fiesta that is dragging the exhaust on the ground.

Well, actually it was plumbers steel strap with a bolt that dave had - and he helped us knock a hole in the bottom to run the strap around the muffler - it worked - was done quickly and we were back in the battle! Almost like a real pit crew...couldn't have done it without the help of Dave!

Aside from all the troubles we had with the car, I had a blast!!! In fact, even with the stuff that went wrong, it was fun. You and Jeannie are a ball to hang with. And you have a pretty good mechanical head on your shoulders!! ;D
