What is the latest that you can register for them? I'd like to do both but my work schedule is still up in the air.

Usually Mike likes to have his sessions set-up at least 10 days out so he knows how many instructors he needs to schedule . If the class is still not full he will allow registration right up until night before BUT you will have to call him instead of using the internet.

Sent an email to Mike. Is phase 1 full? Cr@p! There was no "add to cart" button. There is for phase 2. I doubt I'm skilled enough to skip to phase 2.

If he put you on the waiting list , he waits until he gets 1-2 more , then adds another instructor and lets the waiting list in .....at least that is how he normally works it . I wouldnt sweat it just yet.

Mike I'll let you know by Thursday night. If I make it will be Sat. Wait list doesn't look good as of last night. What kind of help are you needing?

What help do you need ? I might be able to help out one day.
Other than Tech and getting lunch the Evo School pretty much runs itself . Helping get the next run group together helps but Jr and crew do a good job of that too if no help is available.

And a lunch getter, also so I don't have to do it.

What's a SSS? Should there be an "A" in front of that? LOL

Ugghhh, the weather forecast for Saturday looks awful! Now I wish I had signed up for the Phase2 school on Sunday. Oh well, I suck in the rain so I guess it will be a good exercise nonetheless. I just hope the lightening stays away.

I wish I had signed up for Phase2 also. I'm sure the school I did last year with Triad would have been the same as Phase1. Hodges, O'Malley, and Feeney were my instructors. So I'm guessing that would have been the same info. I know what I'm supposed to do. Doing it is my problem. that and learning to read a course as to which cones mean anything.

I know the EvoSchool policy is rain or shine, but it looks like it's just going to be pouring from today thru tomorrow. $30-$45 for a rainy AutoX isn't so bad, but I'm really not excited about paying $260 to drive in what might be a monsoon. Any chance that Mike J. might give us rain checks for another EvoSchool if the forecast doesn't improve? At this point, my heart would not be broken if he canceled the Saturday school and just came down on Sunday.

Taking an Evo School in the rain is one the best teaching/ learning scenarios you will find,,, you reach the traction limit twice as soon so it just enhances all of the car control skills he will teach you. For Mike he has already paid nonrefundable hotel bills and Insurance for the weekend.Prepare for the weather and be ready to learn!!

Don't get me wrong, I still have hope and I'm showing up no matter what! I was just saying I wouldn't be sad if Mike canceled/postponed it.
I have no problem with a wet course and would welcome the chance to get good instruction in wet conditions. The concern I have is with the poor visibility that comes with driving in a downpour. I've driven at Metrolina in a downpour during our summer night series a couple times and I simply could not see well enough out of any window to practice looking ahead. In addition, Metrolina does not drain well and there are places that create massive walls of water spray in downpour conditions (enough to knock over cones! lol!). It just doesn't seem like those extreme conditions would foster the best learning experience, but I'll stop lamenting about the weather and will take your word on this Anthony. Maybe we can get a couple breaks in the weather so that we get a few runs with decent visibility.
Sorry for being a negative Nancy; See everyone tomorrow!

Thanks so much for hosting. Lot of effort went into this, and I appreciate your taking the time to set up the courses and keep the T&S working.
Thanks again!
