From the YouTube videos, that appeared to be a nice bergrennen. If they are closed could the region set up a climb since a weekend probably wouldn't interfere with restoration? If a tv station could be convinced to send a cameraman he could shoot some pixels of repair work and get the inn some free publicity.

Sadly, the Wolf Ridge hill was getting rather broken up and rough. It would become a hillclimb event for SUVs and ATVs if we were to run there now. Not that I am opposed to that.....

Is the pavement a county road or a driveway? Post on the tv website said fire was arson.

The roads we used were privately owned and maintained. The area has fallen on hard times in the last few years and many of the cabins in which we stayed during hill climbs are either in foreclosure or for sale. A few weeks ago, Wolf Laurel announced that they were bankrupt. WL is one of the oldest ski resorts in the state. I don't foresee us returning to Wolf Ridge to hill climb. We are continuing to search for new venues.
