I've ordered some CF seats for my car and I'm curious how that plays into the rules for ASP. ASP states that you can replace the seat, but they specifically mention upholstered seats. How does a hard shell seat apply to this and what class would it put me in if not ASP?

That seat would be illegal for street touring and street prepared (and
It would be fine in Prepared, though I don't know where the Elise is classed in that.

Would pulling a simple fabric cover over it qualify as upholstered? Seems too easy to meet the rule though. Am I missing something?
