Beautiful 2 days in Munford, AL at the Little Talledega GP Track! TVR & AL regions did a super job with the Double Points / End of Year Time Trial Series Event.

CCR had several members that finished the season with a SEDIV Championship
Scott Sipler took the BSP Championship by holding off Shane Findlan who took Second for the Year.
Dustin Webb took the DSP Championship
Robert McManus took the ESP Championship.
Ryan Sharp took the ITB Championship.
I took the Specials Championship.
CSP was down to a three way fight with Michael Tablas, Don Squirek and TJ Theodore. TJ was in the lead by 3 points going in to Saturday. Don took first on Saturday and with that gained 9 points and the lead for the Championship. Unfortunately, on TJ's last run on Saturday, he corded his tires. He had another set of used tires (we created a used mismatch of Kumhos and Toyos) and got them mounted up Saturday night in Oxford. Sunday's first run group showed that TJ was still 2 seconds behind Don. Ryan Sharp, (another CCR member), just happened to have two good tires mounted on wheels that would fit and agreed to let TJ borrow them for one session. TJ dropped to one second faster than Don and took the win and the Championship on that session run. It doesn't get any closer than that. Michael Tablas of CCR took third place in CSP for the year.
Congrats to all the CCR members who represented our region in this years Time Trial program and... thanks to Shane Findlan for serving as our CCR Representative on the Time Trial Committee. We saw great growth and new interest in the TT program and we are continuing to raise the bar for 2014. CCR is planning to run three hillclimbs - 2 Dragons and one other new site. Thanks to all the workers, drivers and sponsors for their help this year with Dragon IV and V. We look forward to 2014... get busy, you have all winter to get your car ready for next year! Thanks!
