As you know, some tire shops have the right tools for race wheels and some don't. This is a good deal and he'll take care of your wheels like they are his own. Mount and balance your race tires for $8 each in his shop.

I believe Montgomery Mazda has a 10% discount for SCCA members? (And a discount I am sure about for Carolinas' Miata Club members) Rich, could you please confirm that or delete this post?

Actually it's more than 10%. I think that CMC members get the same discount as SCCA members. CMC gets 20% off parts and service (other than "routine" work - alignments, oil changes). |

im a tech @ modern nissan@lkn and i can handle anything you guys may need from north
charlotte to statesville. we have proper tire machines and an alignment rack thats level with
the floor so no bumpers or splitters getting ripped off by the ramps. were the only nissan
store in charlotte with this and i dont personally know of any other shops that have this either

Mark is very knowledgeable, and he's fantastic to work with. The Nissan facility is top notch. I've never seen a shop so big and clean, and with the high tech equipment that they possess. As a matter of fact, I'm on my way right now for another set of tire install and balance, and to get an alignment. I highly recommend Mark. My .02 cents. - Jay |

This is actually an SCCA discount, not a CCR specific discount, but apparently it isn't particularly common knowledge, so I'll post it anyway. Choice Hotels (Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn, Econo Lodge, etc.) offers a 20% discount to SCCA members using rate ID 00802155. The only requirement is that at least one person who is staying in the room must be an active SCCA member with available proof (i.e. valid membership card). There are other several other SCCA discounts as well, that I can't recall off hand. Go to SCCA Member Services at ams.scca.com, login (or create an account if you don't have one there already), and click "Discounts" (it is under the first menu, I believe). |
