Dilemma #1.
August 19 & 20 - NCAC at G'boro?
OR
August 19 - SCAC #7 at O'burg.
O'burg is a better site than G'boro, and I'm working on 6-in-a-row in the SCAC, but SCAC is not clinched yet.
That 6-in-a-row haunts me, but I'm not about to use the "P"word for the season. We have a new formidable competitor coming aboard in STS2 down there.
If I go to G'boro, there's a "fat chance" I'll be able to beat Feinberg. For CCR, Scott Sawyer will finish second, at the very least .
The best I can hope for in STS2 is to find out if I'm the 3rd best car in NC, and there's will be some pretty stiff competition for that.

Dilemma #2.
24 Hours on Labor Day Weekend
OR
BMW Roadster Homecoming
Had a Podium Finish last year at Homecoming. Beat all the M's. Want to repeat in a 4 cylinder.
Vs.
Rich and Casino will wax my butt if I don't give full attention to the 24.

I see no dilemma's. You are going to the NCAC to back up the CCR in the run for the cup. And you are going to the 24hr autox, cause you dont want LM or anyone else around your butt. That wax sounds painfull. See, no problems here

Yes sir ree Bob (Bird), I know what you're going through. I gave up the Belle Chere extravaganca this year in order to attend a TurboFord get-to-gether. Man, I was torn between the two. But, as James so gallantly stated, "Belle Chere is every year, this TF thing is a once in a lifetime".

I don't want to be anywhere near JB's butt!!!
Yeah, go to the BMW homecoming... and really push hard.... Use up those MX's... Get really tired... Yeah, thats it.

Then there's the Bird and Doggie challenge. Not to be confused with the 'Maro shootout.
that should put an insomniac to sleep!

Dilemma #1. August 19 & 20 - NCAC at G'boro? ORAugust 19 - SCAC #7 at O'burg. I think (for purely selfish reasons) you need to come on down to Orangeburg. I'll need a good baseline time in order to best sort out the new STS2 setup. I'm surprised though, I would have thought the Greensboro Coliseum would be a better site than Orangeburg?

II'm surprised though, I would have thought the Greensboro Coliseum would be a better site than Orangeburg? Nope. It's probably as good considering the space we should get for the NCAC, but it's in no way better than O'burg. I think (for purely selfish reasons) you need to come on down to Orangeburg. I'll need a good baseline time in order to best sort out the new STS2 setup. You know you could come up here and run NCAC. Feinburg and Sawyer have CRXs that could give you a better starting baseline than me.

I see no dilemma's. You are going to the NCAC to back up the CCR in the run for the cup. There's no way I can help CCR win the cup in STS2.....Now if I can get some R Comps.....ASP might be another matter!

Besides, I know what kind of times you typically run on SCR style courses. By the way, I hear Feinberg will have a new engine , as the old already unhealthy one went kaboom after sucking in some water.
