I have a 94 Honda Civic with mods that put it in DSP.
I have looked throught the 2006 rules and haven't found a definate answer to my question.
I have a set of race slicks I would like to use on my car but I'm not sure I can use them in my class. The wheels are also a different size than stock.
They are 13x8 with +4 backspacing. The tires are Hankook Ventus F200 slicks, 20x8x13.
Can I use these in DSP?

not sure but I think being street prepared, slicks would not be allowed
think slicks can only be used in prepared or mod

15.3 TIRES Tires must meet the eligibility requirements for Stock Category with the following exception: the list of non-eligible tires in Section 13.3.A is replaced with the following list, which may be altered at any time by the SEB upon notification of membership. No tire models are currently listed. 15.4 WHEELS Vehicles may only exceed the allowances of 13.4 as specified herein. A. Wheels of any diameter, width, or offset may be used. Aftermarket wheels may be modified to install OE tire pressure sensors. B. Wheel spacers are permitted. Wheel studs and knock-off wheel drive pegs may be changed in length and diameter. Wheel bolts may be replaced with studs and nuts.
E. No racing tire or recap (on any casing) may be used.
H. Each tire must have non-zero measurable tread depth (i.e., points where it is possible to obtain positive measurement values) as described in Section 3.3.D. Tires may not have cord visible at any time during competition.
"no racing tire" and "non-zero tread depth" eliminates slicks
here you go, so your wheels are fine but slicks are not hope that helped

No kidding! The rules are tough to understand until you've read them 10 or 20 times... Then you need to ask people for their interpretation! After than you'll hopefully know what you can or can't do!!

Depends on class. If you're running at ST or Tire PAX then the tire must have a treadwear rating above 140. For Stock, SP or Prep classes anything DOT legal goes.
