Not because I discovered after seeing the results finally posted that I had, in fact, coned on my last and quickest run *grrrrr* but I really did enjoy the sunshine, the fellowship, the comraderie, the old friends and newly made ones, even the *yikes* hot dogs which I sworn off more than five years ago. Thanks to all for a great weekend and a super good time today. Tired, spent, slightly juiced and pleased, Pdawg

great fun guys! had an absolute blast. definately made some improvements myself due to the fine instruction i recieved from both the school and event #2. still got a long way to go but on that final run sunday i think i finnaly beat it into me head about going slow can be going fast! took it easier that run than any before and got my best time from it (which was still rather sorry ;D ) cant wait to see you all in May. Michael Grant Martin, the MSM with the big honk'n wing. just think of it as balast...or a style bar on the trunk...

IT was a great weekend! Instructing was fun, and suday was awsome too, even though my co-driver beat me in my own car too.

That seems to be a common problem at CCR - Must be the car's owner taking it a bit easier than the co-driver. LOL.
Great fun at the event this weekend - Hope all of the novices who attended come back for some more. And, if you are a novice and reading this thread - remember that you can always ask for an instructor to ride along at just about any event. They are usually found sitting on top of the infamous "grassy knoll" at Knights, grading your driving skills. So, you might as well put them to work - they all know how to put on a helmet.

Grant, I'd suspect that if you really got that MS Miata honkin' full tilt boogie in the rev band that you may actually create lift with that there wing! Thanks for coming out and participating! Pdawg ;D

uh, yeah, that's why the announcer includes the statement " we need help putting away the cones and loading the timing van and stick around, we will present the trophies once we calculate the official results"

That showed the results for all of the classes run so far. It also had the trophy winners listed. But, if you wanted to get your trophy, you had to stick around. (assuming that you worked your shift).
