As a continueance of my request for body shop help, now I am faced with a new issue-
I got hit earlier this week downtown. Anyways, as I had feared, the cop who wrote up the report didn't do it completely accurately and worded it so that we 'merged into each other.' Whereas I had been in the lane for 20 or 30 feet already, I'm sure I was in the guy's blind spot. My question to everyone here is-- how do I go about getting the police report contested since I'm calling BS. I'm going to go down and take a couple pictures of the scene to prove my point, but how do I do all of this without pissing the cop off in the process?

The way I read it. GET a Lawyer. You pay the legal fees, or you pay the insurance bump & repair bills. Only you can deside which is better for you.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to try my luck with the officer who mis-stated my comments at the scene but otherwise I don't think its worth hiring a lawyer over a $1300 repair bill, unless someone can tell me a lawyer will be that much significantly less.......
