This is one of the best "parking lot" venues left in the carolinas.

Big - Open - 2hr from Charlotte.

If you want to stay overnight. Hotels (owned by an autocrosser) adjoing premesis.

Plenty of restaurants close by.

Also, the large grassy bank you see in the background of the Photos in the ad above are great for photos and video.

Below is a photo of half of the parking lot at Florence Civic Center (posted by TeddyTed on SCR Forum). To the right of the row of islands on the right side of the photo, is pretty much a mirror image of what you see.

The Paddock area is on another level and does not interfere with the use of the entire parking lot.

This is a great venue.

Wow, looks like fun. Wish i could go. I'd like to meet the SCR crew and go play with them. I'm really tight on money though. Getting my 85 CRX squared away has cost been a bit than I expected.
