GREAT track Set-up Today! Course was much easier to follow and gave us bigger cars a little more room to manuver...IMHO the best course layout since I've been in the CCR division of the SCCA. Once again great time!

I'm uploading photos now from run group 2 & 3 from today. If anyone wants larger size copies (1600 x 1200) let me know and I'll e-mail them to you. Link to the photos - public.fotki.com/relittle/auotx/ccrax4/Things ran great today, like yesterday. Nice and smooth, the rain didn't hit us hard... Great job all!

I had a great time this weekend and I really liked the course today. 5 runs is a whole lot better than 4. The doubleheader between RIck's crazy corvette and the Typhoon! was definitely a high point for me. I took a mess of photos on Saturday and stuck them on the web: pics.1800philes.com/autox_051306/. I took a subset of some of the vintage photos from that set and created a photo gallery on hemmings.com. www.hemmings.com/users/1/gallery/72.htmlsteve berry

What a way to spend a weekend!! ;D Great layouts both days, today's (IMHO) was a lot more open, and WAY more fun to drive. ;D I figured group 3 (mine) was toast with the precip, as it started to sprinkle just as we were heading to grid. But thankfully, I put the top down, and all was well!!! Nice pics everyone!!! That Typhoon was pretty wild!! Does anybody know what happened to it?

That Typhoon was pretty wild!! Does anybody know what happened to it? Typhoon was cool and the driver was a good guy as well....I believe he toasted the transmission from what I heard

The word on the Typhoon was that a transmission died mid-course. Unofficial and speculative of course. edit: DOH! Rick beat me to the punch (or post as it were) as I was trying to get logged in again. -Biggly

Once again great time! Rick, If you liked today's course you should try going to a National Tour. Typically those courses are notably larger and quite a bit faster. Too bad we don't have more space; we'd end up with some really great courses. -Biggly

^Post the results already. We're waiting on Steven to do that. If I had a login to the website I'd have posted them myself on Saturday night. On Sunday Steven had the laptop and not me, plus I needed to get on the road back home. (Actually we may be waiting on someone other than Steven to get these posted, I'm not sure who controls the website these days.) -Biggly

I only got to attend the Saturday event, but it was a blast. Loved the course setup. I had a great time. Lookin' forward to the next CCR event. I'm down here in the SCR. How's the event at Lowe's Motor Speedway lookin'?

I liked your "party blower", pdawg. It showed that this autocross stuff can be fun and safe at the same time. You're a nut and I thinks that's great.

Yes he is a nut....on that we all agree...LOL...
I know this is contrary opinion, but Colin and I really liked the saturday course better...much more technical and challenging with a need to be smooth and stay on the wheel.
But, then I used a "walker" for my course walk - ROFL

Didn't meen to infer that you were being lazy im just anxious.
