There has been a disqualification. The judge from China Grove is a relative of Mr. M and must recuse herself from the competition. What a blow... and after all that writing...

*the judge from China Grove is still writing* Is this the same girl that waited my table recently? As she walked off we heard her mumble. Step, breathe, step, breathe.

Gigi, if you check back, the Nomaro is a serious offer. A great first auto-x car. Sorta like swinging 3 bats before walking to the plate. PLUS am a fair instructor imho. James Impala SS on snow tires. ;D

Holy crap, I leave for 2 hours to watch a movie to cool off from today and this thread is 6 pages? Does this violate the post w.h.o.r.e. clause? Gigi, I should be at the 24 hour event. You should come out and hang out. I was only working the double cross on sunday. I was the red head under the tent (soaked in sweat) writing down the bracket information as the day wore on. I didn't get to participate because I had a final on saturday so I came down to Atlanta saturday evening. I came down just to hang out to unwind from finals and to spend the 4th in the ATL having fun. edit: WHY do you type w.h.o.r.e. without the periods does it change to "sleeper" Interesting choice of filter.

OMFG where do I start with this....... Gigi, I worked the double cross on sunday. What car were you driving? I was just watching. I don't think my Suburban would be very good running around the track. I guess I just answered John. I'm looking for something used that I can also drive around in and have fun on the road. I wish I had known you were there. 1. Quite a few of us were there. Oh Geeg. Hi. You nebber answered, FWD or RWD? What is your preferred method of putting the power down? Or mebbe you want AWD, like Tara? 2. Tara does like all the traction she can get I don't care really. It looks like Mini Coopers do well, and I like them. On top of that, they seem to be fairly inexpensive as used cars. 3. Compared to an M roadster or some other cars that are presently out there, a MINI is pretty inexpensive. I bought mine brand new for 22.8K and have less than $1500 of mods into it total including wheels and tires to make it reasonable competitive. I don't care really. It looks like Mini Coopers do well, and I like them. On top of that, they seem to be fairly inexpensive as used cars. Either the Mini Cooper or the Mini Cooper S would definitely be good choices. The Mini is in H stock while the Mini C "S" is in G Stock. I'm thinking about one mesef. 4. Better buy one soon if you are going to get a new one before the new 2007 version comes out. I predict it will not be as good of an autocross car. The thought of you havin' your top down gives me kind of a thrill, too! ;D ;D ;D 5. That usually doesn't take much She wants a leedle car, SR... that pulls from the front... I don't think she likes it from the rear... 6. and JB and me both want you to get a mini so we can BOTH instruct you before Per gets his hands on you... 7. There are younger/faster/more single MINI instructors than Per Olof. He was lucky enough to grow up in Sweden, so he has been spoiled enough. Gigi, you should probably try ride mooching for a while. Having driven a large number of cars through the cones, i'll say each has its fun spots. Light weight front drivers snake through the cones as fast as you car fling them. Datsun Z's and big V-8s bring out thr sprint car driver in you. Torque is a BLAST. No finesse required. Miatas and MGs need smooth, but will leave you breathless with their quick response. Ultimatly, the choice is yours and yours alone. Russ 8. I agree completely. You are more than welcome to take my MINI for a run at the 24 hours. 9. Party in my hotel room at the 24 hours. 10. Anyone want to let me drive a fast car so that I can get PAX and Raw FTD at the 24?

I think that's the fastest I've seen a thread go up in page counts! At one point, there were 10 members and 4 guests online at one time. I've never seen that many before.
