How many people would be interested in a AutoX at Lowes the weekend of the June Jam Club Race -- June 17-18...
We would use the KART track on the infield -- very cool road course....

You've never lived until you've seen the results of a wrist pin breaking at 13,000 rpm and the rod wrapping itself around the crank...
AMW flat-6, 2-stroke, fuel injected, 277hp at 13,000 rpm... Sounded like a F1 car going around CMS (err, LMS).

I would love to go. Remember an old CCR Auto X on the Kart track and it was a Blast! Have a little problem with 2 events back to back. I would vote to move the points event to LMS and cancel Intimidators. Just my .02.

The bad thing about moving the event date is some of us (me, Shane, Colin) have scheduled work around the previously posted autocross schedule. Moving the event to a different day will cause us to miss a points event.

As of now CCR doesn't allow us to drop any events from the season ending points.

Would definitely be at the event scheduled on the 11th. If we go to Lowe's, I think it should be a non-points event. |

reckon i fourth.  could possibly make it to lowes on the 17th, but not both days and like i said in another thread im already work-scheduled for all SCCA points events off this year. i just generally have to notify them when the next events comming up immediately after the most recent event, which ive already requested the 11th off... could possibly swap the day off but the closer it gets the less likely that would be. please please please let it be decided soon whomever may be the decider!  |

I think it would be great. I work on Saturday and Sunday nights so it has caused me some problems getting to the events listed but I think it would be a good tie-in with the event already going on.

Yeah..wish it was different, but this is the one weekend of the year where I cannot be there (neither will Colin or Sheryl) if it is at Lowe's on 17th. Bummer. I have driven on the go kart track and it is really really neat. very challenging in a full size pickup. My vette was a lot of fun on it too.
