We should have some annual tech stickers at AX #5. I've asked that we have 25 made, that should cover all of the regulars that haven't been able to get their sticker.

Car must pass tech, SCCA member, have autocrossed with CCR for at least a year.
If you make significant changes after you have been annually teched then you must go through tech again.
Chief tech inspectors reserve the right to pull ANY car that has an annual tech and re-inspect it at any time during the year.
The year restriction was overruled at the novice school, so the people that came out at the school got annuals. I for one hope that we DO NOT do that again. The newbies need the experience of going through tech at every event.

Absolutely!
IMO if someone gets an annual tech sticker, he or she must have demonstrated a propensity to consistently bring cars to the tech line that pass inspection.
It's difficult to demonstrate that in less than 2 years - one year would be an absolute minimum to me anyway.

So... I've been Auto-Xing north of the Masion Dixon Line for 3+ years. My husband , here for 5 decades. Right now we share MY car. Am I entitled to an Annual sticker?

It has to pass tech first!! ;D Remember, they are inspecting the car, not the driver. If they inspected the driver, I'm not sure I would pass!!  |
