Nice videos, thanks for posting those.
I wish I didn't have to leave early, I could have run with the other 2nd place guys.
How did you end up doing overall?

Good videos. What brand and type rubber were you on again? V710s? You had tremendous grip out there.
I noted that you were able to keep it up above 5500 in the rev band a fair amount of the time on each of your runs. I was giving up rpms due to lack of grip with the M+S tires (Falken Ziex 512s). If I had tried to run at those higher rpms I wooda been in the grass. All my runs were a combination of drifting and skating I'm afraid.
I also noted the strength of your engine note across the rev band. I drove a '92 miata for five years before obtaining the '99, and I haveta say you wrung out about every bit of available power from that little 1.6 liter. You kept your momentum flowing too- extremely important in such an under powered car.
Still wanta drive it if you'll allow me.

I am at work right now so this will be pretty short. V710's As far as rpms and momentum, that is 100% it, keep your foot in it and pray it sticks. It wasnt hard keeping revs with turns that wide. If you noticed I was slipping alot, rear tires, all four, I did hit grass a few times, etc. Next time available for fun runs or even a co-drive, just ask.
