Yes, you must be a CCR member to be eligible for the season trophy.

I think it is a requirement to be a SCCA member, but not necessarily a CCR member

To compete for season points you must be a SCCA member. It doesn't matter if you're SCR, NCR or CCR, or any other region. You have to be a SCCA member.
