I have been considering going to the Nationals, but I have almost ruled out the option to stuff my Mini and drive it to Kansas. Just too much hassle and effort. To make things more appealing I have been thinking if someone nearby who I know has a truck and a suitable trailer to haul the Mini to Topeka and interested to team up and co-drive a reasonably well prepared 2005 Mini Cooper S in G-Stock I may consider going. Give me call at 704-231-9188 to explore. Per Olof Ezelius Huntersville, NC

Per Olof, You are more than welcome to take my tire trailer to nationals. I just bought a spare wheel/tire for the trailer and have also mounted a spare wheel/tire for the MINI under the trailer since I don't use runflats on the street. I know that you don't have a hitch, but I could take the trailer hitch off my car and mount it onto yours in a few hours in my garage. The trailer can easily hold race wheels and tires above and beyond the two spares. You can also fit all of your gear in my box so you would only need to put your suitcases into the car itself. P.S. I heard your exhaust might be a wee bit loud but at your advanced age you've probably lost most of the hearing in that frequency range anyway Oh yeah, the Swedish Embassy called for you again also.
