i was on my way home from work today on 77S and a big metal washer flew up from somewhere and smacked my window and destroyed it to all hell and some of it got on me, so my parents and i decided it would be best to tow it home and w/ AAA it was free anyways...hopefully it'll be fixed by the 24 hour auto-x there is also a nice big divot on the front of the window

Reminds me of about 30 years ago, I had a nice 73 Firebird Formula, Yellow with a 4-speed and American 200s wheels, ridin' down a long straight road, this girl in a black Jeep comin' at me, 200 yards away, I see this big rock come off her left rear, it flyies waaaaaay up in the air, makes a biiiiiiiiiig arc right for my windshield. I could jerk to the left an hit the Jeep head on, or I could go to the right into a deep ass ditch,........ doggone rock hits right in the center of the windshield,(anybody 'member them GM antenna's in the windshield??) Well it hit right between them two little wires about 3 inches fron the top an left a small crack about a 1/16" in diamater, but it sounded like a shotgun goin off when it hit. Maybe it was only a split second, but I remember it feeling like 10 minuets from the time that rock left that wheel till it hit, and not a thing ya could do to stop it, SUCKS DON'T IT ?? Alright, lets hear some more windshield crashin stories !!! I hate it for ya, but like I said, theres usually nuthin' ya can do, even if ya see it comin, gives ya this sickin feeling don't it?? And yours had all that glass all over the place on the inside, that could be bad if it gets in your eyes, DUDE you were lucky, glad your OK, just be thankful for that. Windshields are cheap compared to eyes, right ? Hope to see ya at the 24 !!
