Steven - Might be a good idea to revise the registration deadline to this Friday, as it is currently closed.
Thought I would get to be the first one, but alas - I already missed the deadline of October 8th.

Fixed. Very odd, I set it to close the same day as the event. Anyway. Thanks.

heres a good questino anyone ever seen a mazda3 at one of your events, know if there will be one this weekend? id like to have something to compare to, so that i can know if its me or if its the fwd... at porsche autox i drove my dads 911sc and that was a blast and i seemed to do better in the rankings for time... kind of an ego thing... up at clemson there are too many prepped hondas and we use nasa so its hard to tell sometimes if you are any good. (the hondas weigh a lot less than me )...

You never know what will show up until that day... We've had a couple from SC in a Mazdaspeed Protege Turbo from time to time... Haven't seen a 3 yet.

I don't remember a Mazda 3 at one of our events, but one did finish second in H Stock at the 2006 Solo Nationals in Topeka.
The guy was about a second faster that Per Ezelius in G-Stock.
Per will be at the NTI event, so you can compare your times to him to see how you're doing. Based on the Topeka results, you can take Per's time and multiply times .99 to get an approximate comparison to the top Mazda 3 in the SCCA Nationals.

well lets hope that i got classing right for his car and mine.. i have an exhaust and cai
and for him well the only thing he hasnt done is include a supercharger on the car... (83 911 with rebuilt motor, bilstein shocks, bb exhaust, headers, etc...) so HS for me right? and ASP for him? we signed up in novice.

Actually a CAI will move you from stock class into an SP class or you respective ST class if you car is legal for ST classes.

That 911 isn't eligible for any current ST classes to my knowledge; that would be an ASP car. Not that it matters after the event anymore, but that is most likely where it should go. -Biggly

Yep, found it under the Ferrari chariot. Next to the rusted out Renault. That was next to the Old boat with "Santa Maria" painted on the stern.

As an aside comment ; This is where the comment "isn't that a bite in the asp" originated.
