I was driving over by Lowes Motor Speedway today and was thinking that we might be able to use this lot for an event. The only problem would be figuring out what we would use for paddock due to the fact that mostly everywhere besides the course is gravel or grass. Also the grid area would most likley have to be lines like we had at the 24, I figure that the area I marked out for grid would be large enough for 3 lines and a return lane. So what does everyone else think about this? P.S. This is the lot across the street from the speedway. P.P.S. Yes I know that the picture size stinks but I dont have any image resizing programs.

Looks fine for us, but I like the Kart track too!
The Spartanburg airport has three runways that form a triangle and they only use one of them. I talked to someone there and they seamed willing to at least listen. I got the info to Steve and hopfully we might get a new place to play. Thoughts?
Hey Cassino, how long does the lot run? Looks huge. Greg

We have considered and inquired about that lot before. It is a bit expensive, and more than anything, Lowes would require an ambulance and staff member on site for the event.Driving the cost up way too much to justify an event there.
Cliff Notes: Ok Lot, Way too expensive.

I was up that way one afternoon (may have been before the social at QS&L) and saw a bunch of Sherriff cars out there doing training... Guess the authorities get a good deal from Humpy!

Oh yeah they do! Humpy likes to support law enforcement so he gets preferred status when he borrows them for 3 weekends a year!
