We're getting more radios!

With thanks to Steve, the BoD approved the purchase of 24 UHF radios.

Those who have worked corners/grid/timing/registration/race control for CCR will know the need we had for newer radio's. So I'm very happy (and appreciative to Steve) for the opportunity to buy radios at a price the club could (just!) afford.

We would still like another 6.

I thought I'd add that SOLO will be getting some of the soon to be retired road race radios. That'll be nice!!

Indeed it will - And it is a good way to take advantage of the need to upgrade the Club Racing radios to longer range UHF - We will get the more limited range VHF radios, which will be perfectly fine for our purposes. So everyone will benefit from the purchase of new equipment.

Shoot, bring on the hand-me-downs! I know I don't have $200 to contribute, so I hope nobody's complaining. Why do you think eBay has done so well? And leftovers for lunch are a heckofa lot better than saltine crackers and/or Healthy Choice!
