I have one...that I use to kill weeds with. I've read that people like to use them (with water of course) to cool down their tires in between runs. Should I bring it to the 24hr? I just got Azenis RT-615s, which I hear get greasy in too much heat. Someone enlighten me.

I don't know if I'd use one previously used for pesticides, but it is a good idea to cool those tires. The sprayers are cheap enough that you can buy one just for cooling tires.

I heard some pesticides can actually soften the rubber compound of tires, and help them to grip better.

I bought a set right after they came out - 2 of them were extremely difficult to mount - took about 100 psi to get the bead to pop into place - had them shaved to true round and then those 2 had a tread depth difference of 1/8 in from 1 side to the other. I have only just recently, after autocrossing on them for over a year, come to fully appreciate how much worse they are when hot - i hear the older Azenis series was worse - thats hard to imagine. Jack Mc Well, this was my first autox...so I couldn't tell if they were getting greasy or if it was my driving. I ran them at about 39 or 40 psi front and 37 or 38 rear. That might be too high, but my car plowed with them at 36 psi. I'm afraid I'm going to need a bit more experience to actually be able to tell when the tires are the greasy part of the equation ;D. I did feel like, incidentally, I was over-driving them. I was running out of grip more than I'd like, and I have a fairly aggressive alignment with a good bit of negative camber. Again, I don't know if I can blame anything on the tires or if it was my driving. I've only put about 700 or so miles on them though...got em a week or two ago. Could be that full tread depth (which isn't so full) that I'm feeling. Oh, what do you mean round? I didn't have any problems at all mounting them, if that helps you.
