Very good chance that we will have a non-points event in Dec. We are looking at a site in Statesville with no light poles or berms (to help Steven). We are looking at maybe the 10th. Nothing finallized yet, but hopefully more details coming soon. Dave

77 is on the right, you get off 77 make rt off of exit and rt into the site. The site that we would use is the lighter colored area coming right in and the large area to the right and past would be the staging and grid area or it could be at the very begining as you come in. Would be nice to have the grid and staging past the site, but depends on if the site is wide enough to have an entrance and exit path past the autocross site- only way in and out. Either way the site is nice sizewith some fun elavation changes. I went up there again today, with Rich this time and we think the site will be fun.

Is anybody up for one last fling this season? I plan on going to both. Anyone want to join me? I'd love to. But, it all depends on my Father-in-laws' condition. I should make (hopefully) Statesville.

We're registered for the Turkey Cross. It should be fun...and flexible, too. We're considering the tentative event in December with you guys, but Statesville may be a tad far for us. Sounds like a GREAT venue.

really helps to have someone with an inside connection, dont recall the person responsible for this but many thanks for getting a foot in the door.
I visited this site last year in hopes of getting something done but was basically a "cold-call", didnt know anyone and they didnt know me and turned me down flat.

Should be a good venue for a long time. As the lost configuration there is always changing. If we behave ourselves and make sure that we clean up etc, we may be able to get another section of the property to play on.
