NC region of SCCA presents the class champions w/, along w/ a trophy, a full sized poster of all class champions and a magnet for their car. The poster looks pretty cool! (can be seen in the forums section of ncrscca.com under solo) Any idea of doing something similar since we are now blessed w/ a lot of great photos! Thanks to fastfotos!

Well, if it was the actual class champions, I wouldn't want one either!! But, yes, I meant the cars. Take a look. They did a good job.

B y my count we have 28 class champions. The poster has 16. Would need 3 more rows of 4.

Yeah, NCR's events are much smaller than ours, max 60 cars. Almost no Prep cars, very few SP cars.
Now Joe, I'd ever take a dig at your technical skills... ;D

This may be tuff to arrange, but I'd be willing to shoot the champions with their cars at a pre-determined location. If it was near Charlotte, and all the winners are onboard for it...I could set up my lights and do car/driver portraits.

I always thought it would be neat to have a decal made up for Solo Class Champion that could be stuck on your car (window) - something like laurel wreaths with checker* flags inside and then have a year decal to go underneath.
That way a class champion could display it on their car and each year - if they won - could add another year sticker to it. (like WWII fighter planes showing 'kills').
This would also be good for novices because they would know who the people were that were successful and could ask advice.
I - of course - would have to steal some decals!
*checker - translated from the English 'chequer'.

Mebbe like in F-1 class champs could use #1 as thier #. And let folks know what went on the year before,lol.

I do like the idea of a "class champion" sticker. That would be a nice way to honor our champs!
